Scholastic Achievement Certificate

The Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Scholastic Achievement Certificate recognizes all chapter members who have achieved the designated academic criteria outlined below.  Award winners will receive an inscribed certificate and be recognized in the annual Phi Epsilon Kappa Virtual Awards Ceremony.

Undergraduate Student Criteria:

  • Current active Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Future Professional Membership
  • Completion of 90 credit hours (with letter grades), with 60% of the 90 hours completed within the past 3 years
  • Grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a four-point scale

Note: An undergraduate student is eligible to receive either the Scholastic Achievement Certificate or the Dr. Jeffrey S. Vessely Memorial Scholarship Award (not both) within the same year.

Graduate Student Criteria:

  • Current active Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Future Professional Membership
  • Completion of 24 credit hours of graduate coursework
  • Grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a four-point scale

Note: A graduate student is eligible to receive either the Scholastic Achievement Certificate or the Dr. Jeffrey S. Vessely Memorial Scholarship Award (not both) within the same year.

Application Requirements:

  • Copy of unofficial transcripts that show credit hours completed and overall grade point average
  • Chapter Advisor verification signature
  • Photograph (to be used in the PEK Virtual Awards Ceremony and social media)
