Chapter Development Award

The Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Chapter Development Award is designed to recognize and assist chapters that perform outstanding service by providing funding for a new or continuous/expansion of a project or activity of the chapter's choosing.  The proposed project or activity should enhance the fraternal feeling among members, promote service to the college/university, community, and/or professional organization and meet the criteria outlined below.  Award winners will receive an inscribed certificate, a maximum of a $250 stipend, and be recognized in the annual Phi Epsilon Kappa Virtual Awards Ceremony.  Annually, a maximum of four, $250 Chapter Development Awards will be bestowed by the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity.

Criteria:

1.  Chapter Advisor has a current active Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Professional Membership

2.  Be an established, active chapter, for a minimum of one full year

3.  Provide a concise description of at least two chapter activities/service projects during the previous academic year

4.  Provide a clear description of the new or continuing project, including the purpose, objectives, and explanation as to how the proposed project contributes to the stated objectives and mission of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity

5.  Designate the amount of money requested, with a maximum request of $250.00

Application Requirements:

  • A sufficiently detailed narrative statement that addresses the criteria (3, 4, and 5) from above 
  • A photograph showing fraternity activity, if possible (to be used in the PEK Virtual Awards Ceremony and social media)
