Dr. Lorenzi is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as the Director of the Special Needs Activity Program.  Originally inducted into the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at Slippery Rock University as an undergraduate student, Dr. Lorenzi went on to start the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at West Liberty State College (now West Liberty University).  Currently, Dr. Lorenzi serves as the chapter advisor for the Gamma Tau Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Lorenzi has served on the Phi Epsilon Kappa Board of Directors as the District I Director, as President, and now serves as the Executive Director.  Dr. Lorenzi completed a B.S. in Health and Physical Education with certifications in adapted physical education and sport management at Slippery Rock University in 1993, an M.A. in Adapted Physical Education at the University of Georgia in 1998, and an Ed.D. in Physical Education Teacher Education with a cognate in Special Education at West Virginia University in 2008.

Dr. Berkey is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Human Performance Health Education at Western Michigan University.  Berkey served as the Department Chair for 13 years, Coordinator of the Graduate and Undergraduate Physical Education and Teacher Education Program and the Director of an Adapted Physical Education Professional Preparation Grant.  A native of Pennsylvania, Berkey earned degrees at Slippery Rock University (1976) and West Virginia University (1982, 1985).  She started the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at Western Michigan University in 1998 and continues to serve as the chapter advisor.  Dr. Berkey served on the Phi Epsilon Kappa National Council as the first elected female President.

Ann Hickey, Ph.D.

Dr. Hickey is an Associate Professor in the Kinesiology Department at Whittier College.  She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Physical Education and Recreation at Whittier College.  She then earned her PhD in Kinesiology with a specialty in sport psychology from the University of Southern California.  Currently, Dr. Hickey serves as the chapter advisor for the Zeta Lambda Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at Whittier College.  Dr. Hickey has served on the Phi Epsilon Kappa Board of Directors as the District VI representative, as President-Elect, President, and now serves as the Past President.

Cathy Houston-Wilson, Ph.D.

 Dr. Cathy Houston-Wilson is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education at SUNY Brockport.  She began her affiliation with the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity in 1981 while as a student at Manhattan College.  Later, she became advisor to the Beta Pi Chapter of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity at SUNY Brockport.  In 1999, Dr. Houston-Wilson was elected to the Board of Directors, serving as the first female in that position.  In 2011, Dr. Houston-Wilson was elected National President of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity.  She remains active on the Board of Directors as the District I Director.  Her expertise is in the area of Adapted Physical Education.

Mr. Sandler is a Lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education at SUNY Brockport, where he primarily teaches coursework in the Exercise Science major.  Originally inducted into the Beta Pi Chapter of Phi Epsilon Kappa at SUNY Brockport as an undergraduate student, Mr. Sandler currently serves as the co-advisor for that chapter.

Dr. Burt is the Associate Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where he also serves as the Graduate Coordinator.  Dr. Burt serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Zeta Mu Chapter of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.  Dr. Burt has served on the Phi Epsilon Kappa Board of Directors for the past two years.  Additionally, Dr. Burt serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education (NAKHE), as well as the Board of Directors for the American Kinesiology Association (AKA).  Dr. Burt completed a B.A. in Kinesiology at Ouachita Baptist University in 2008, a M.S. in Sport Administration at Henderson State University in 2009, and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology Pedagogy with cognates in Adapted Physical Education and Sport Management at the University of Arkansas in 2012.

Pamela Verhulst, Ed.D.

Dr. Verhulst is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Wellness, and Sport Science at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, where she serves as the Sport Leadership and Management Program Advisor and Advisor of Kinesiology Klub. She also serves as online adjunct faculty at the University of Western States, Oregon, in the Sports Performance Psychology Program. Dr. Verhulst was inducted in 2017 as a Member of the PEK chapter at McMurry. She continued to lead in Kinesiology and PEK until she took over the Advisor title in 2020. Dr. Verhulst is a graduate of UW – La Crosse, Wisconsin (where she hales) in a BS in Physical Education/Coaching, and a MS in Human Performance/Biomechanics. She completed her EdD at the United States Sports Academy in Sports Management, Sports Leadership, and Sports Coaching. Currently, Dr. Verhulst serves as the faculty advisor for the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Epsilon Pi Chapter at McMurry University of Abilene, Texas.
