R.R. Schreiber Distinguished Service Award
The Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity R.R. Schreiber Distinguished Service Award recognizes one member of a chapter who has displayed a high level of service and leadership and meets the criteria outlined below. Award winners will receive an inscribed certificate, a $150 stipend, and be recognized in the annual Phi Epsilon Kappa Virtual Awards Ceremony. Annually, one award winner per chapter will be recognized.
Undergraduate and Graduate Student Criteria:
- Current active Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Future Professional Membership
- Service to one or more of the allied professions served by the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity and/or to the campus or community on behalf of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity
- Nominee will have displayed leadership in one or more of the following: service as a chapter officer, service as a committee chair in the chapter, service as an officer, committee chair, and/or member in a professional organization, recipient of scholarships, fellowships, or similar awards related to service and leadership
- Individual chapters are permitted to set other criteria as outlined in their by-laws and/or operating code
Application Requirements:
- Chapter Advisor letter of recommendation
- Letter of support from the organization that benefited from the service and describes the impact of the service rendered (if applicable)
- Photograph (to be used in the PEK Virtual Awards Ceremony and social media)
