- Nominations for Fraternity President
Term of Office:
Normally two years as President-Elect, two years as President and two years and Past-President. The current term of office will begin with a one-year term as President-Elect (April 2008 to April 2009) and the Presidential term will begin in April, 2009 following the AAHPERD convention.

- Meetings:
The National Council meets at the AAHPERD Convention in the odd numbered years. The Fraternity will cover costs that go beyond the normal cost of attending the convention. If the person elected does not normally attend the AAHPERD convention, transportation, lodging and per diem for the day or days of the Council meeting will be covered. If the Fraternity Council meets in an even numbered year, all costs will be covered.

- Duties:
The duties of Fraternity President are the traditional duties of being the chief elected officer of a national council.

- Deadline:
Please submit a letter of interest and your vita on or before December 1, 2008.
